The nano_COLLAGE project consists on a _script_ written in PHP, a data_base_ to store all data, an interface to add the images and, finally, the nano_COLLAGE itself.

The main point of the nano_COLLAGE project is to build a community collage with all images people add to it. You are asked to choose any image, in any size, and place it anywhere you want in the nano_COLLAGE.

Keep in mind that the nano_COLLAGE's width and height are infinite, so you can REALLY add your image anywhere.

All images are added with a default 50% transparency, this way the nano_COLLAGE gets more and more complex after each person's intervention.


// INTENTIONS

The nano_COLLAGE idea is to build an art work that you'll never be able to apprehend in it's totality. When viewing the nano_COLLAGE you are always limited by your screen size making it's perception fragmented.

In another hand this project has also a deceptive character. Let me explain. As the nano_COLLAGE is composed by more and more images, it gets longer and harder for your internet browser to load it. So if the project succeeds the nano_COLLAGE should get invisible, because impossible to be loaded.
